The Assistant Administrator serves a member of the Behavioral Health Executive Leadership team within the Parkridge Health System. Our Behavioral Health services encompass four locations within the system, to include 192 inpatient psychiatric beds in three free-standing locations as well as outpatient and partial hospitalization on our adult campus, and a separate facility dedicated to intensive outpatient services. Our populations served range from children to geriatric patients.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee behavioral health ancillary services and additional departments as assigned
• Maintain facility compliance with all regulatory and accreditation standards
• Work with the CEO on overall facility growth, renovation and plant management projects.
• Initiate and coordinate operations and growth of intensive outpatient services (IOP) and partial hospitalization programs (PHP)
• Maintain budgetary guidelines
• Work collaboratively with executive and physician leaders to enhance programs, resolve conflict, develop new services and maximize resources
• Serve as liaison between assigned sites and other departments/managers within the systems to ensure an integrated operation of the facilities within the overall system
• Facilitate the development and implementation of internal and external marketing strategies
• Lead patient and staff engagement and outcome initiatives

Knowledge, Skills, and abilities:

• Must possess strong knowledge of clinical operations
• Strong knowledge of applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and professional standards
• Strong project management skills
• Good communications skills
• Strategic planning skills and outcome measures
• Knowledge or strong desire to learn behavioral health clinical and operations detail
• Working knowledge of CMS, The Joint Commission and State regulatory requirements

This individual must be willing to travel between all locations in the Parkridge Health system and additional travel as required.

Qualifications
A. Master’s Degree in hospital administration, business, healthcare related field, or behavioral health sciences
B. Proven leadership experience
C. Demonstrated interpersonal skills with external and internal customers
