We are a full-service, Level II Trauma facility with 317 inpatient beds located in the heart of Orange Park, providing medical care to Clay County and surrounding communities. The hospital has 170 private rooms. There are nine labor, delivery and recovery room suites for new mothers and a seven-bed, Level-2 neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) for premature babies and those born with special needs. There is also a 24-bed psychiatric unit, 20-bed inpatient rehabilitation unit and 20 ICU beds along with a state-of-the-art CVICU and step-down unit.


We are searching for a new Controller, responsible for supervising all staff in the Accounting Department. This position has the ultimate responsibility to ensure that all HCA Accounting Policy Guides are followed and that all financial related reporting deadlines are met. The Controller is responsible for the coordination of any external and internal audit inquiries. The Controller reviews and refines systems to insure that proper internal controls exist and SOX requirements are in place and working properly. The Controller oversees the preparation of net revenue, cost accounting, and other reimbursement related reports as requested.  Responsible for overseeing the monthly financial close process, annual budget preparation, Tax workpaper preparation, and Medicare Cost Report preparation.  The Controller works with other department directors to assist with statistical volume, cost, and revenue reviews.  Assists CFO on pro-formas and special projects as required.
