HCA is committed to the success of its leaders. In 2014, HCA Chairman and CEO Milton Johnson announced the launch of the HCA Leadership Institute. HCA's Leadership Institute advances HCA's vision by building strategic and operational capabilities, rapidly deploying best practices and cultivating leaders who exemplify HCA values. It is through our leaders that HCA will prove successful in the care and improvement of human life.
The first program launched under the Leadership Institute banner is the Executive Transitions Program. This onboarding program features a Live Forum where participants hear directly from executive leaders and begin developing their own transition plans; Virtual Cohorts where transitioning leaders collaborate in small groups to support one another and connect virtually to discuss common challenges and successes; and Executive Coaching/Peer Mentoring in which executives receive ongoing support in the development and execution of their transition plans.
